MK Dons fail to win Dan Micciche's first league game in charge, away at Walsall.

Micciche is trying to bring the "MK way" back to MK Dons but admits it didn't happen on Saturday. "I think first twenty minutes we created our own problems and that wasn't us, that wasn't our identity", he says.

The Dons came out brighter after the break but still failed to find the finishing touch "We readdressed that at half time and second half, when we created the overload in midfield with the 4 v 3, we had momentum and we looked more like us and it was in that period we had to take one of our chances. Unfortunately we didn't and probably with their only chance of the game they scored."

Dons dropped a place this weekend and now sit in 22nd place in League One, 3 points off safety.

Their next game is on Saturday at Stadium:MK against 9th place Portsmouth FC.
