Marshall Amplification sponsors Willen Hospice Midday Moo in Milton Keynes this weekend

Willen Hospice are thrilled to have Marshalls Amplification as their headline sponsor for their Midday Moo event which takes place this Saturday.

The Midday Moo is a ‘day-time’ version of the charity’s flagship event, the Midnight Moo, which also takes place on Friday 15th July. Similar to the Midnight event, the Midday Moo is a 5 or 10-mile walk, which starts at MK Rugby Club, Emerson Valley.

There are surprises and pub stops along the route, with the 5-mile ‘half-moo’ finishing at energie Fitness MK, where Marshalls will be giving out their own beer, and the 10-mile route circling back to the MK Rugby Club, where the Big Food Festival will be in full swing.

Alex Coombes, Commercial Director at Marshalls Amplification, said “We are proud to be the headline sponsor for the Willen Hospice Midday Moo. It is a fantastic event, and I had a great time when I walked the first event back in 2019.

“Willen Hospice relies on the support of the local community to help raise funds so they can continue doing their amazing work. I encourage everyone to celebrate this amazing charity and come together with their friends, family or colleagues and sign up for the Midday Moo on Saturday 25th June.”

Nikki Poole, Willen Hospice Community Fundraising & Events Manager, said: “The Midday Moo is a great summer event, and gives you a chance to enjoy the sunshine with friends and family while fundraising for a good cause.

”It is going to be a fantastic event. There will be music, free drinks at the participating pubs, Talbot Inn and The Sportsmens Rest at Shenley Leisure Centre, and Marshalls beer and slices of Papa John’s pizza will be served at the half-moo mark. We cannot thank Marshalls Amplification enough for supporting us by being our headline sponsors, as well as all of the other organisations who are helping to make the event possible.”

The entry fee is £20, which includes a fundraising guide, sponsorship forms, in-memory bibs, and the much-anticipated annual ‘Moo’ t-shirt and medal.
