Last night, a man was rescued from a lake in Milton Keynes by firefighters and taken to hospital by ambulance.
Crews were called to Greensand View in Woburn Sands just after 9pm following reports of a man in the water.
One appliance and crew from Broughton, one from West Ashland, the Water Rescue Unit from Newport Pagnell and an officer attended the scene.
Firefighters rescued the man and assisted South Central Ambulance Service, who took him to hospital.
Firefighters then carried out a further search.
