Darren had set himself a huge target of £20,000 and at the time of writing, has already raised £23,600 through JustGiving.
Every penny raised will go to support the work that Menphys do for disabled children and their families in his home county of Leicestershire.
" Over the last couple of years, I’ve taken on one or two challenges to raise some money for a charity that has become very close to my heart!
"Those challenges have raised a total of over £30,000 and made a massive difference to so many deserving families but that being said, there’s always been a feeling of unfinished business, one last itch so to speak.
"Many of you will know I turned 50 a few months ago and my aim is to try and raise £20,000 to take my fundraising to £50,000.
"So this is it…..The final curtain, the last hurrah, my final challenge - and this one is the biggest yet!"
