Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, a man has been charged in connection with an assault in Milton Keynes.
Liam Wiggins, aged 32, of no fixed abode, was charged on 15 June with one count each of Section 18 grievous bodily harm with intent, assaulting a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm, criminal damage and wound/inflict grievous bodily harm without intent.
The charges relate to an assault of a woman in her twenties at an address in Bradville at around 11pm on 10 May.
The victim suffered a broken cheekbone and nose, which required treatment at Milton Keynes University Hospital. She has since been discharged.
Wiggins was also charged with one count each of common assault of an emergency worker, racially/religiously aggravated intentional harassment/alarm/distress – words/writing, assault by beating of an emergency worker and obstruct/resist a constable in execution of their duty.
Wiggins was remanded in custody and appeared at Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court on 16 June, where he was further remanded in custody.
He is due to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on 19 July.
