It has been announced that nursery brand Mamas & Papas will be opening a concession within Next Home at Milton Keynes Central Retail Park.
Milton Keynes has been left without a Mamas & Papas after the store at the Kingston Centre closed in 2019 when the chain went into administration.
The Kingston-based store was closed due to it being one of the company's least profitable stores, but many other branches and concessions across the country continued to operate as normal.
And now, as the nation begins to emerge from lockdown and head out shopping, Mamas & Papas has said it will be expanding its concessions within Next stores.
A Mamas & Papas concession will be opening within Next Home, next to Pets at Home and Hobbycraft, in July this year.
It will sell the retailer's range of travel systems, furniture and clothing and will also offer a personal shopper service, car seat consultations, and click and collect.
Nathan Williams, Chief Operating Officer of Mamas & Papas, said: “Physical retail space remains an important pillar of our multichannel growth strategy alongside our online business. Feedback from our customers shows they value the opportunity to touch and feel our products and the consultative experience that our specialist assistants provide in-store.”
