Make a Will and help support Willen Hospice in Milton Keynes

Local people are being invited to take advantage of a Will-writing service this May as the Willen Hospice Will Month returns.

The charity has teamed up with solicitors and Will-writing professionals to make this service available for anyone who would like to create a new Will or update an existing one. Throughout the whole of May they are offering to write Wills in return for a suggested minimum donation to the Hospice.

Appointments are limited and are allocated on a first-come first-served basis, so it’s recommended that bookings are made with the chosen solicitor or Will-writing professional as soon as possible, quoting ‘Willen Wills’.

People have the choice to complete their Will in the comfort of their own homes by by booking a face-to-face appointment or using the online service.

Fiz Johnson Legacy fundraiser at Willen Hospice said “Having an up-to-date Will is the best way to ensure your future wishes are met, giving you that peace of mind that your loved ones are looked after and that the causes you care about can continue to make a difference to people lives.

“I am extremely grateful to our Legacy Partners. I cannot thank them enough for all that they do, particularly during Will Month. Their professionalism and support is just incredible and they inspire me enormously through their own values and passion for Willen Hospice.”

Anyone writing a Will is also able to discuss leaving a legacy to Willen Hospice as part of the Will-writing process. Gift in Wills are vital for the future and sustainability of our Hospice”.

A Willen Hospice supporter, Nas Rockley explains why she decided to leave a gift in her Will.

*We have pledged a gift to Willen Hospice in our Will as a way to thank them for the love and care they provided to dad during his final moments, it’s our way of giving something special back to them after we are gone, having the confidence knowing that our gift no matter how big or small will make a huge difference to the lives of patients and their loved ones long into the future.
