All three lanes of the M1 Southbound between Junction 15 and 14 are currently closed due to a road traffic accident.
It has been reported that a 'serious' car crash involving multiple cars happened around 2:30pm this afternoon (22/7).
Highways England has closed all three lanes going Southbound whilst the collision is dealt with.
The lanes are expected to reopen early this evening with normal traffic conditions resuming around 7pm.
