Beaverbrooks, a jewellery store chain, will be upsizing while also opening a new luxury concept in the centre:mk.
Beaverbrooks currently has a store on Midsummers Arcade in the centre:mk and has spent over two decades providing luxury jewellery pieces to the people of Milton Keynes.
And now, they will be moving to a much bigger store in the same shopping centre, this time along Crown Walk. The opening date of the new store has not been revealed but is expected to be at some point this summer.
In a separate venture, Beaverbrooks will also be launching 'Loupe' - a new, luxury retail brand that will be selling far more premium and expensive products.
Loupe, which will not be run under the Beaverbrooks name, will offer Rolex, Omega, Hublot and Zenith watches, alongside other jewellery products.
The average price of items in Loupe will be selling for three to four times more than what is sold in Beaverbrooks.
A spokesperson for the centre:mk has said that Loupe is opening "imminently in the next couple of weeks".
Anna Blackburn, managing director at Beaverbrooks, commented on the new store opening.
She said: “2020 was a challenging year of adapting quickly to change in an already precarious retail landscape, and we are extremely proud of how we responded as a business.
“Our website has been crucial in navigating the pandemic but given the luxury and emotive nature of jewellery and watches, customers will always want to go in-store to see the product and receive one-to-one expert help and advice.
“We first opened our doors in Centre:MK 26 years ago and are committed to our loyal customer base in the region.
“We’re excited to build on our longstanding relationship by relocating to a new store, where we’ll continue to provide exceptional quality diamonds, jewellery and watches, and an even better shopping experience.”
