Luton teen charged following attempted robbery in Milton Keynes estate

    A boy has been charged with possession of a knife and attempted robbery in connection with an incident in Milton Keynes on Sunday (10/7).

    The 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named, from Luton, was charged with possession of a knife blade/sharply pointed article in a public place and attempted robbery.

    The charges relate to an incident in Oldbrook Boulevard, Oldbrook, at around 8pm on Sunday when a 19-year-old man was threatened with a knife and was subjected to an attempted robbery.

    Nothing was stolen and the victim was not injured.

    The boy was arrested on the same day and was charged on Monday (11/7).

    He appeared at Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court today (12/7) and has been remanded in custody to reappear at the same court on 31 August.
