Marking seventy years of service this year, Her Majesty The Queen is set to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee.
The Platinum Jubilee Weekend will be an extended bank holiday from Thursday 2nd June to Sunday 5th June.
There will be many events taking place nationally and one local town council is trying to encourage celebrations by offering grants to local groups.
