A local care home has recently presented MK Food Bank with a large donation of Easter Eggs.
Ashby House, in Milton Keynes, has been collecting Easter egg donations from staff and the local community to take to the food bank to put smiles on the faces of children across MK.
The care home regularly works with the local community, holding events and activities for residents and surrounding neighbours.
Francesca Fosu, General Manager at Ashby House said: “We are always keen to show as much support as we can to local charities.”
Ashby House care home is run by Barchester Healthcare, and provides residential care, nursing care and dementia care for 64 residents from respite care to long term stays.
Earlier this month, MKFM reported that MK Food Bank has seen a rise in the number of people it is supporting.
