The A421 has re-opened between the M1 at Junction 13 and Marston Moretaine this evening as flooding hits Milton Keynes.
Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue say that the carriageway was affected by flooding and excess surface water.
Both carriageways was closed earlier this afternoon but have since re-opened.
Elsewhere, Milton Keynes Council has also issued an update stating that there is localised flooding on Weston Road at the Ravenstone/Weston Underwood junction.
It comes after a flood alert was issued by the Environment Agency covering the River Ouzel in part of Milton Keynes earlier.
