Police, Fire Service and the RSPCA rescued a little lamb from the River Great Ouse in Olney near Milton Keynes last night, after it became stuck in the water.
The A509 road was closed for a short time yesterday evening, with officers in attendance at the scene from 4.41pm.
The Water Rescue Unit from Newport Pagnell Fire Service as well as one appliance and fire crew from Broughton attended.
The lamb was saved in the rescue unit, and is now safe and well.
