For a second year, The Parks Trust is welcoming some of MK’s tastiest street food vendors to Great Linford Manor Park for two family-friendly, foodie events.
This Thursday (16th June), patrons can enjoy tasty Mexican dishes from Baja Cantina, unique Scottish Punjabi street food from Saf’s Kitchen and delicious toasties from Good Times Café, as well as indulgent baked treats from Oh My Cakery.
The event will also feature newcomers Plant Bass’d who offer a varied plant-based menu and Wilson’s who create mouth-watering burgers.
The second event for the summer will be held on Thursday 18th August and will welcome back Oh My Cakery, Wilson’s and Plant Bass’d along with authentic Chinese noodles from family-run Fung’s Kitchen and freshly baked pizzas from Giuseppe’s Pizzeria.
At both events, visitors will have the chance to shop from an array of local market food stalls and enjoy cold drinks from The Jolly Shire horsebox bar, or a refreshing cuppa served from St. Andrew’s Church. Live music will provide the perfect setting for a summer feast!
Julie Dawes, Events & Community Engagement Manager for The Parks Trust said, “We were delighted with the success of Linford Eats in 2021 and we’re excited to be able to offer the event on two occasions this summer.
"These events allow us to showcase the newly-restored landscape at Great Linford Manor Park which has been made possible by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. It will be a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, and we hope to see lots of people there.”
Both events take place from 5-8pm at Great Linford Manor Park and are free to attend.
Linford Eats is a great way for the whole family to spend time together outdoors, and visitors are encouraged to bring their own picnic blankets and chairs. Payments for food need to be made by card. Full details can be found on The Parks Trust website.
