Libraries across Milton Keynes have opened their doors to the public today (13/4) as lockdown restrictions have eased.
All libraries, apart from the MK Central Library, have welcomed residents back for browsing, returning books, borrowing books, and other usual library services.
The MK Central Library is currently being used as a rapid testing centre for key workers and will continue to be used for this purpose for the time being.
However, the libraries in Bletchley, Kingston, Newport Pagnell, Westcroft, Wolverton, Olney, Stony Stratford and Woburn Sands will operate as normal - with extra safety measures in place.
They had previously been operating as a click and collect service during lockdown, where people could reserve a book online and pick it up during designated times.
MK's libraries are open from today (except Central Library). When you visit the library, you will notice some changes to ensure the safety of visitors and staff.

Milton Keynes Council has not imposed a time limit for visitors but is asking that people more through the library "as quickly as possible".
There are extra safety measures in place, including social distancing, and visitors will be asked to provide contact details to assist with NHS Test and Trace or to scan the QR code.
