Due to February being LGBT+ history month, MK Libraries are urging readers to delve into some of the works created by and about members of the LGBT community.
LGBT History month is a time to look back and reflect upon the vast contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals throughout history - as well as the history of the gay rights civil movement.
Encouraging members of the public to learn more, MK Libraries posted online: "We're celebrating by sharing some great books that highlight the lives and histories of the LGBTQ+ community.
"Take your pick from a fantastic selection of book to celebrate the lives and history of the LGBTQ+ community for LGBT History Month."
