The cemetery was officially opened in Bletchley this morning.
Today (5/4), the largest Muslim Cemetery officially opened Milton Keynes.
The cemetery is on Selbourne Avenue, Bletchley.
Attending the official opening was the Mayor of MK, Lllr Mohammed Khan.
It comes as some Muslim Milton Keynes families found they were struggling to bury their loved ones within Milton Keynes.
Religions including Islam, Hinduism and Judaism require family members to be buried usually within 24 hours.
Muslim cemetery's also allow for the graves to be dug differently, as well as the burial process.
Previously, the site on Selbourne Avenue saw the site waterlogged and struggled with drainage. Following funding and help from MK Council, the Muslim Cemetery has officially opened.
