A lane is closed on the A5 Northbound in Milton Keynes this evening as Storm Franklin hits our city.
It follows a single vehicle collision between the junction with Grafton Street (Redmoor Roundabout) and Portway (Portway Roundabout).
Police say a tree fell onto the carriageway as strong winds hit our city.
Authorities have confirmed that all occupants of the vehicle are OK, but have advised motorists to be safe and drive to the conditions this evening.
A tree has also fallen on Emberton Road tonight between Clifton Reynes and the A509 blocking the road in both directions.
Eyewitnesses have told MKFM that the road is currently not passable as a result.
A yellow weather warning is in force for strong winds across Milton Keynes until 1pm tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Avanti West Coast are advising customers travelling tomorrow, Monday 21 February, that they should delay their journeys until after 10am if they can.

Fellow operator London Northwestern Railway are urging passengers to check their journeys before travelling tomorrow with further high winds expected as Storm Franklin arrives.
