Fire in Milton Keynes house leaves 30% of kitchen damaged

    A Milton Keynes resident’s kitchen has been left in poor condition following a fire that erupted yesterday, July 22, damaging 30% of the room.

    Yesterday (July 22), two fire and rescue crews, one from West Ashland and the other from Bedfordshire, attended the scene of a fire in Kinloch Place, Bletchley, along with a police officer.

    The crews arrived after reports of a fire. On arrival, smoke was issuing from the house reported.

    The firefighters utilised a positive pressure ventilation fan, two hose reel jets, and four sets of breathing apparatus in order to put out the fire.

    It was found that around 30% of the kitchen was damaged by the fire and around 60% damaged by smoke.

    There were no reports of any injured parties in the fire.
