John Lewis has filmed its latest driver training video in Wavendon Village.
John Lewis have been seen today (13th February) filming a lorry tackling the 'notorious' bend in different scenarios.
The bend on Walton Road has no footpath and limited passing space and is used by traffic accessing south MK from Cranfield and Woburn Sands.
Milton Keynes City Council has recently undertaken a detailed CCTV-centred traffic count and intends to bring forward a detailed road safety calming scheme or a series of calming options for local consultation.
Cllr David Hopkins, Chairman of Wavendon Parish Council commented: "The fact that this part of the village has been identified by a major logistics operator such as John Lewis further emphasises the need for the city council to being forward a road safety scheme as soon as possible to take the burden of this heavy traffic away from the very rural route."
