Independent Italian restaurant in Milton Keynes ceases trading due to coronavirus

An independent Italian restaurant in Milton Keynes has ceased trading due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Casa Cento Italian Restaurant is located on Stony Stratford High Street and was well known for its range of pizza and pasta.

The company operated as a take-away and delivery service during the early part of lockdown, but has now closed its doors for good.

Announcing the news on Facebook, the restaurant said: "Unfortunately due to the pandemic Casa Cento has ceased trading and will not reopen."

"Thank you to everyone for your support since we opened. We will miss you."

It's the latest chain to suffer the economic effects of lockdown with a number of shops and restaurants in our city shutting up shop in recent months.
