An incident at IKEA Bletchley at lunchtime today led to some customers telling MKFM they were stuck in the store car park for up to 90 minutes after the building was evacuated.
The store was closed from around 11.15am until around 1.55pm and some users on Twitter were reporting that they were unable to get their vehicles out of the car park.
@IKEA__MK are you back open yet? I want to get my car

Local resident Anna Thorpe told MKFM: "We gave up and left at about 1.30pm. They are waiting for an engineer to fix a sprinkler fault and can't let anyone in until it's functional. The staff were doing their best but it was clearly an unusual incident and they were working with limited information."
The suggestion that staff had limited information was backed up by other Twitter users, saying they were told to exit and re-enter the building multiple times.

MKFM understands the store re-opened at around 1.55pm, with Facebook user Dee He saying: "It had just reopened as when we got there was still shut. Reopened just before 2:00. Loads of people outside when we got there at 1:45 and car park nearly empty."
