An ice rink will be opening at one of MK's most popular lakes this winter.
Fun for families and friends alike, the purpose-built ice rink opens at Willen Lake on 17th November 2023 until 7th January 2024.
Robert Cook, Director at ice rink provider Ice Leisure Group says: ”We’re really excited to be opening in Milton Keynes this winter. Skating next to the lake under the decorated marquee is going to be truly magical.”
Robert Wood, General Manager at Willen Lake adds: “We’re delighted to be providing families with a fun new festive event. Willen On Ice will add a whole new dimension to the Willen Lake experience.”
Featuring over 400m2 of real ice and located just off the main path overlooking the lake, skaters will glide under a festively decorated marquee.
For those not looking to take to the ice, or anyone wanting to extend their visit, there will be a selection of rides, food stalls and a bar to enjoy.
The rink will be open most days, however tickets should be booked online in advance to avoid missing out.
Tickets include skate hire, from £6.95 for children and from £12.70 for adults. Group discount of 10% is automatically applied for groups of four or more skaters and concession pricing is available.
Residents can book early to avoid missing out and benefit from 20% OFF with promo code ‘LAUNCH20’ - available to the first 1,000 bookings only, when purchased before 15th September.
