Husting set to take place in Milton Keynes Sunday June 23rd

    Residents of Buckingham and Bletchley Constituency will have the opportunity to meet all the candidates (or their representatives) standing for the seat at a hustings on Sunday 23rd June.

    The event will be located in Bletchley, and will enable voters to hear what each party has to say about the issues that matter most to them and to their communities going into the forthcoming general election.

    Attending the event are: Callum Anderson (Labour Party candidate); Francis Bonney (Green Party representative); Ray Brady (Independent candidate); Jordan Cattell (Reform Party candidate); Dominic Dyer (Liberal Democrat Party candidate); Ade Osibogun (Conservative Party representative).

    The hustings will take place at Water Eaton Church Centre (WECC) in Drayton Road, Bletchley at 16:00. The event has been organised by local churches based at WECC. Mrs Nudrat Hopper, who works for St Frideswide’s Church as a Community Organiser said, “It is vital for the voices of local people to be heard by those wishing to represent them in parliament. The needs of constituents can only be served effectively by those who have first listened carefully to what those needs are.”

    The event will be chaired by the vicar of St Frideswide’s, Rev Catherine Butt, who said “I am delighted that voters will have this chance to engage with the candidates, and I look forward to us exploring a range of issues together in the context of robust but constructive dialogue and debate.”

    The hustings for Buckingham and Bletchley Constituency takes place at Water Eaton Church Centre (WECC), Drayton Road, Bletchley, MK2 3RR on Sunday 23rd June at 16:00. Attendees are asked to arrive by 15:45, and refreshments will be served after the meeting closes at 17:30.
