Hungry Horse restaurants in Milton Keynes to fundraise for charity starting with 12-hour bike ride

Hungry Horse restaurants in Milton Keynes are launching their latest charity fundraising drive on Monday (31/8), and are kicking it off with a 12-hour static bike ride.

The month of September is dedicated to fundraising for Macmillan, a cancer support charity, across all Hungry Horse restaurants.

The Broughton Hotel and Furzton Lake Hungry Horse will be taking part in the fundraising, with 12-hour bike rides taking place in both venues between 10 am and 10 pm on Monday.

Staff and customers will be taking part in the static cycle, making sure that the wheels keep turning for a solid 12 hours. Energie Fitness gym will also be at the Broughton Hotel on Monday to recruit new members and will be donating the usual £10 sign up fee to Macmillan.

During the month of September, there will be car boot sales every Sunday at Hungry Horse restaurants from 9 am to 11 am. It will cost £10 per car with all proceeds going to Macmillan.

Or, if you are heading out to eat at The Hungry Horse, the Greene Warrior burger has been introduced to the food menu. The Greene Warrior boasts a green bun and mac and cheese filling alongside a patty. For every burger sold, they will donate £1 to Macmillan.
