32 areas across the city had their food and garden waste collections missed today (24/8).
Milton Keynes Council has said that their waste contractor, Serco, has been catching up with increased levels of waste due to the service resuming last week.
Green bin collections were previously suspended due to the "pingdemic" causing staff members to self-isolate.
In a short statement released, a spokesperson for Milton Keynes Council said: "We apologise for delays to the food and garden waste service, we're currently working one day behind."
The areas that were missed are:
- Bradwell
- Heelands
- Bradwell Common
- Downs Barn
- Cold Brayfield
- Newton Blossomville
- Chichley
- North Crawley
- Clifton Reynes
- Moulsoe
- Astwood
- Little Crawley

These affected areas have been told to put their green bins out tomorrow for collection.
