Power network operators are working to restore power to hundreds of homes in Milton Keynes after they have been left without electricity.
In a statement released earlier this morning, a spokesperson for Western Power Distribution (WPD) said: "We're sorry to customers affected by the power cut in Newport Pagnell and surrounding areas.
"We estimate that all customers will have power restored by 09:00."
The exact cause of the power cut is currently unknown.

9:34am UPDATE: Western Power Distributors have offered an update on the situation saying: "We're pleased to say that all power supplies to the Newport Pagnell area are restored. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused by the power cut."
