Milton Keynes University Hospital’s Council of Governors is holding elections in October 2022 and nominations are now open to members to fill these vital roles for the Trust.
As a governor, you will be one of the voices representing MKUH's members during these challenging times for the Trust and the NHS.
You will have the opportunity to help shape the future of the Trust as an exciting new expansion programme is developed, designed to look after MK's growing local population.
In this role you can also seek and share the views of the members to help improve the experience our patients receive.

Please note that only members of the Trust can nominate themselves to become a governor.
The six seats up for election next month are:
- Public: Bletchley & Fenny Stratford, Denbigh, Easton Manor, Whaddon – one seat
- Public: Linford South, Bradwell, Campbell Park – one seat
- Public: Hanslope Park, Olney, Sherington, Newport Pagnell North, Newport Pagnell South, Linford North – one seat
- Public: Outer catchment area – two seats
- Public: Extended area – one seat

All nominations need to be registered by 5pm on Monday 17 October. Once all the nominations are confirmed, voting will take place. Please note that only members of our Trust can vote in elections.
