A fundraising page has been launched to generate funds in order for Deanshanger's kebab van to be restored following a devastating blaze.
The popular food van, which is usually on Hayes Road, caught fire yesterday evening (19/7).
Eyewitnesses told MKFM that they saw large amounts of smoke and flames coming from the van, which has now been left completely unusable.
As a result, the local community has rallied together to contribute to a fundraising page in order for the van to be repaired.
John, the kind-hearted local behind the fundraising page, explained why he wants to help: "I’m starting this fundraiser to help the lovely guy who took over the Kebab Van recently. Sadly it caught fire today and is a total loss. This is a great local business used by many let’s help them restore and get back to business as soon as possible."
There is a £5,000 target and so far just over £1,200 has been raised. You can view the fundraising page by clicking here.
