Milton Keynes Council has said that free face masks are being given out to residents at the local market today (13/4).
COVID-19 Community Champions, who volunteer to help the local authority share the latest messages about the pandemic, are currently at the city centre offering advice and answering any questions that shoppers may have.
They will also be explaining the importance of being vaccinated while handing out much-needed face masks.

Milton Keynes Council has also opened a rapid asymptomatic test centre, something which was previously open to key workers but is now open for all members of the public.
The test centre is at MK Central Library from Monday to Friday, and also allows residents to pick up to 14 free lateral flow tests per person.
