The Football Fun Factory was created to provide 'incredible childhood football experiences' for boys and girls of all ages and ability levels.
James Cutting created Football Fun Factory and was joined by Jonny Martin two years later, having previously worked together in professional football at Cambridge United.
Now, Football Fun Factory is thriving in Milton Keynes thanks to franchisee Luke Russell.
"I've been surrounded by football all my life, both playing, watching and now coaching. Football was instilled into me from an early age having been a season ticket holder at Fulham FC attending games with my Grandad, Dad, Uncle and Cousins," Luke told MKFM.
"I first started coaching at the sweet age of 16 alongside my cousin at Waterhall Stars FC where my Uncle was the Chairman of the Football Club. This experience really ignited my passion for coaching and where my love for coaching began.
"Becoming a young Dad at the age of 21, future plans were put on hold and family life took priority whereby I found myself working for a local car finance company. Through a family friend, I found myself getting back into Grassroots football coaching at Under 7's and progressing over the years with the same team at Tattenhoe Football Club.
"Whilst I thoroughly enjoyed my work I knew my true passion lied elsewhere, in coaching football. I'd always wanted to work in football but for one reason or another, it felt like there was never the right time. Looking back, I'm not sure there is ever a perfect time so if you're passionate about doing something new, my recommendation is go for it and never be able to question what if?"
Following his passion, Luke went looking for additional work by coaching football in my community which is when I saw the advertisement of the Football Fun Factory.
"I can still remember getting a reply from my application advising that they were actually looking for Head Coaches who wanted to work full time in football.
"Thanks to the support of my family, I made the leap to join the FFF full time and leave my job of 9 years. So March 2021 The Football Fun Factory Milton Keynes was born and we've not looked back."
This March, The Milton Keynes Football Fun Factory is celebrating two years.
"Time certainly flies when you're having fun. When I joined I was the 17th Franchise of The Football Fun Factory, we're now at 67 Franchisees across the UK and Northern Ireland with another Franchisee to launch down under later this year."
Football Fun Factory offers footballing experiences to all children of all abilities aged between 2-12. Through football, the coaches teach good behaviours, social awareness and discuss topics such as our 'Word of the week'.
Through all of the sessions on offer and working within after school clubs, FFF approximately works with 200 children each week.
Over the last 2 years, the club has worked with Milton Keynes Council helping provide football experiences and hot meals to more vulnerable families under the HAF project.
Recently, they teamed up with MK Charities, MK Girl Network, Aunty Em's Kitchen and GOLSON to provide Christmas stockings for all the children who attend our Football Fun Camps.
