Residents are being reminded to stay out of the water as stormy weather hits Milton Keynes.
The Parks Trust has shared some images of flooding around Milton Keynes parks today, urging residents to take 'extra care' near the rivers and waterbodies.
It comes as The Met Office has issued a weather warning for wind and rain across parts of the UK, including Milton Keynes. Storm Henk is set to bring winds of up to 80mph, causing disruption to travel and utilities.
"Many areas of the parks are currently in flood!," The Parks Trust has posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.
"Please stay out of the water and take extra care near the rivers and waterbodies. The city’s green spaces are designed to hold excess rainwater to help prevent residential flooding."
The warning is in place from 10am until 8pm today (2nd January).

Paul Gundersen, Met Office chief meteorologist, said: "Storm Henk will initially bring very strong winds to the southwest of England and Southern Wales, with gusts of up to 80mph possible.
"As Storm Henk moves north-eastwards across the south of the UK through Tuesday the strongest winds will also move eastwards, across the south Midlands, Home Counties and East Anglia through the afternoon and evening."
