Firefighters save dog from Milton Keynes kitchen fire

    Fire crews were called to a kitchen fire in a flat in Bletchley.

    Fire crews were called to Suffolk Close in Bletchley at around 4:52pm on Sunday 23rd January.

    Two fire engines and crews from West Ashland attended the fire which was caused by a hob.

    The hob has been left unattended whilst something was cooking.

    Firefighters using breathing apparatus managed to get the fire out using one hose reel jet, a positive pressure ventilation fan and a short extension ladder.

    Crews were able to remove an uninjured dog to safety.
