At 10:29am earlier this morning (14/06), local firefighters raced to extinguish a fire in the roof space of a bungalow on Langcliffe Drive, Heelands.
Attending the scene from Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service was two appliance and crews from West Ashland, one from Broughton, as well as one from Newport Pagnell. One officer was also in attendance.
The responding firefighters made use of three hose reels, two sets of breathing apparatus and a turntable ladder.
They proceeded to isolate the gas and electricity supply before making the site safe.
Firefighters encountered a man suffering from the effects of breathing in smoke and left him the care of South Central Ambulance Service. His current condition is unknown.
