Fire crew from Milton Keynes were called to an industrial unit in Blakelands.
A call was made to fire crews after smoke detectors were set off at a unit on Tanners Drive, Blakelands on Wednesday 26th at around 10:53 PM.
Fire crew from Newport Pagnell attended the scene where burning around a poorly insulated kiln chimney had caused charring and generated smoke, causing the smoke alarms to go off.
The firefighters used a short extension ladder, a thermal imaging camera and small gear for cutting away.
They isolated the electricity supply to the kiln.
