There is an emergency underpass closure in place in Milton Keynes City Centre this evening as a water main has burst.
Ringway MK are in attendance near to the underpass under the Grafton Gate/Midsummer Boulevard Junction, close to the Santander Head Office.
A highways spokesperson said: "Our team are assisting with localised closures while Anglian Water fix the leak."
People are being advised to avoid the area and seek an alternative route.
It is not thought that water supplies to any nearby properties are currently affected.
An eyewitness in the area told MKFM: "The roadworks on Midsummer Boulevard between Santander and Olive Tree are leaking a lot of water."
"It's on the service road and running down through the underpasses."
