Welcome to our newsletter. It's December, and our community's festive spirit is alive and kicking. If you've missed the latest on social media, here's what we've been up to this month. We want to wish you all a wonderful Christmas.
Big Give Christmas Challenge Success!
We did it! Thank you SO much for your donations between the 3rd and 10th of December. We are overwhelmed by your generosity and continued support. Thanks to the Big Give Christmas campaign, which pledged to double the difference and match-funded your donations, we raised a whopping £34,000 (with Gift Aid)! Thank you to all the donors, including those who chose to support us for the first time.Thank you to MKFM for promoting our Big Give challenge on air and online and to all the attendees of their December networking event, Meet of MK.
Your donations will make a HUGE difference.
We plan to create extended homes for our residents to have the space to live comfortably, given changes to the range of learning and physical disabilities within the community. Extensions to the existing homes within the Camphill MK Community will transform the growing houses and allow us to continue to address the long waiting lists for adults with disabilities to have a permanent home. THANK YOU!

New Build Progress - Live Blog
As many of you will know, we are in the process of building new, accessible homes for adults with learning disabilities and autism. As part of our Capital Plan expansion programme at Camphill MK, the first house building phase is in Pennyland, Milton Keynes. Local contractors Watson & Cox are the leading contractors bringing to life the plans. We’re making excellent progress. The scaffold has come down on schedule, and we’re so pleased with the results unveiling the fantastic limestone building. MK Community Foundation is kindly funding accessibility elements of the building, including a state-of-the-art accessible lift. The foundation is making a significant impact in funding in the community, which is made possible by their fantastic donors and fundholders. We are fortunate to have such a committed funder on our doorstep!
