Could you be a host family for a MK Dons Scholar living away from home?

MK Dons Football Club are looking for host families who can provide a warm and welcoming environment for its Academy Apprentices.

MK Dons takes great pride with the strong bond, which exists, between the club and the people of Milton Keynes. The Academy strives to create and maintain a winning team on and off the field of play, through a sustainable model recognising the competitive world of professional football.

The Academy work behind three core principles of being humble, being on time and being prepared.

Players and their families are encouraged to identify opportunities to develop and promote these principles away from the football club, at home and at school.

When players finish their GCSE’s they enter the football club on a full-time apprenticeship and MK Dons are now looking for local families to support and host some of the players that live outside of the area.

Host families will play an important role in providing a ‘home from home’ that allows young players to thrive and develop their academic and football programme.

You can find out more about the role and how you can become a host here.
