Amid the cost of living crisis, MK Council has listed support which is available to Milton Keynes residents.
Yesterday (24/5), it was announced that energy price cap is expected to rise by another £830 to £2,800 this October. Now, petrol prices have reached a new record high at 170p a litre and diesel at 181p.
People across the UK are being affected by cost-of-living prices rising. Kantar Worldpanel, which provides data across the grocery sector, says its measure of grocery inflation jumped by more than 1% over its last reporting period to 7% - with signs the peak is far from being reached.
Sky News has reported that the UK is 'heading into unprecedented territory'.
A spokesperson for MK Council wrote: "If you are worried about your finances and how you are going to make ends meet, there is help available."
