Community Litter Pick set for next month in Milton Keynes

A parish council in Milton Keynes has organised a Community Litter Pick, due to take place next month.

Great Linford Parish Council has organised a Community Litter Pick, taking place on Saturday, September 7 at Conniburrow Community Centre.

Participants will meet at the community centre at 10am and finish at 12:30pm. There will be refreshments available for all volunteers.

The event welcomes everyone, including families, and organisers will be on hand with litter-picking equipment suitable for both adults and children.

Families are invited, and we will have litter-picking tools available for both adults and kids. The event is free to attend.

Tommy Hayes, Community Liaison Officer from Great Linford Parish Council said, "I'm delighted to share that our community litter picks, held monthly from March through October, continue to be fantastic community events. Not only do they help keep our area clean and protect local wildlife, but they also offer a wonderful opportunity for residents to come together. It's always great to see people out enjoying some fresh air, meeting their neighbours, and building stronger community ties. With refreshments provided, the monthly litter picks have become social occasions.”

The meeting point will be at 37-39 Conniburrow Blvd, MK14 7DX.
