Cineworld Milton Keynes delays re-opening until end of July

    Cineworld Milton Keynes have delayed their re-opening date until the end of July.

    The cinema chain originally said they would be re-opening their doors on Friday July 10th.

    However, this has now been delayed by a number of weeks and doors will now open in Milton Keynes on Friday July 31st.

    A spokesperson for the cinema said: "Upcoming reopenings remain subject to final clarifications and confirmation in relation to various government Covid-19 restrictions".

    Commenting on the re-opening, Cineworld chief executive Mooky Greidinger said: "Movie fans around the world continue to be excited by the strong slate of summer films ahead, including Tenet, Mulan, A Quiet Place Part II, Unhinged, The Broken Hearts Gallery, Bill & Ted Face the Music, Greenland, and Antebellum as well as a special re-release of Christopher Nolan's Inception on IMAX."

    "Cineworld looks forward to welcoming these moviegoers back to our cinemas next month and believes that they will once again be immersed in the timeless theatrical experience they know and love."

    Meanwhile, Odeon at Stadium MK is pressing ahead with plans to re-open this Saturday July 4th.
