A charity in the Milton Keynes area is supporting residents in certain estates with their heating bills this coming winter.
A long-established charity, The Three Parishes Fuel Charity, is providing a grant towards heating bills for residents on smaller incomes or those living with a disability.
To qualify for the grant, applicants need to:
- have lived in Wavendon Parish, Aspley Heath Parish, or the town of Woburn Sands for at least the last year
- have an annual income that the trustees feel would qualify for a grant (the income limit for awards is higher than residents might expect)
If approved, the award will be paid directly to the applicant’s energy supplier.
Residents have until Monday, September 30 to apply.
