There were delays earlier of 60 minutes on the M1 Southbound near Milton Keynes due to a collision.
One lane was blocked on the southbound side between J14 (Milton Keynes) and J13 (Bedford).
Traffic was travelling at incredibly slow speed past the scene, and the traffic camera image near J14 showed a large backlog of traffic approaching the collision scene.
Highways England said the collision was blocking Lane 1, and that there were seven miles of traffic congestion on the approach.
Bucks Fire and Rescue said that no-one was trapped in the collision but one man was injured and was given first aid.
The carriageway full re-opened at just after midday.
