With the new Aldi store set to open tomorrow, August 22, the supermarket has teased that a British Athlete will be attending the official opening amid its partnership with the Paralympics.
Although Aldi is present in other sections of Milton Keynes, Olney does not currently have any of its stores. The site is perfect for a new, high-quality, low-cost grocery store, giving Olney residents additional options when it comes to where they can buy without having to leave the town.
The brand new Aldi in Olney is opening tomorrow, Thursday, August 22 and Aldi UK has teased the idea of a British athlete attending the Warrington Road opening in a recent post.
The 1,865sqm new store is set to be more easily accessible to the local community. The plan will increase the variety of local stores, lessen travel time, and generate up to 40 new jobs.
Giles Hurley, CEO of Aldi UK and Ireland said, “Demand for Aldi has never been higher... We’re welcoming more and more customers through our doors every week.”
There will be plenty of space for locals to park with 107 car parking spaces, including five disabled bays, seven parent and child bays, and four bays with electric charging points.
Since Aldi’s post teasing that an athlete will be there, no updates have been made as to who it may be.
