MKFM has received reports of a case of coronavirus at Milton Keynes Hospital.
MKFM can reveal a case of COVID-19 has reportedly been identified on one of the inpatient wards at the hospital on Standing Way.
Trusted sources say patients who were on the same ward have been isolated and a deep clean of the area has taken place.
According to the sources, an extensive "contact tracing" exercise is underway to trace anyone who might have had close (face-to-face) contact with the patient. Some staff have been asked to self isolate for 14 days.
All hospital services are still running as normal including inpatient and outpatient services, maternity services and planned operations.
MKFM are awaiting official comment from MK Hospital.
