The Prime Minister Boris Johnson has made a visit to Middleton Primary School today as part of his visit to Milton Keynes.
Mr Johnson met teachers and students from the primary school after a visit to Milton Keynes Hospital this morning.
He tweeted photos from the visit and said the government was "investing an extra £14 billion in schools to help give all young people the same opportunities to succeed."

But Mr Johnson's visit has been poorly received by some residents on social media.
Local resident Simon Clawson commented on our Facebook page: "The election that’s yet to be called and is currently stalled, along with the whole political system? Maybe he should stop campaigning with financial promises he can’t meet and just get on with sorting the mess he and his colleagues have caused?"
Others were more supportive of the Prime Minister, with Susan Kirkwood commenting: "Would have loved to have seen him. Milton Keynes Hospital have done so much for members of my family over the last couple of years! Thanks for all their hard work."
