A series of boiler failures closed two Milton Keynes schools today, with another planning to close tomorrow.
Holne Chase Primary in Bletchley and Broughton Fields Primary were both closed today (Monday 23rd January), with Stantonbury Campus announcing it intends to close tomorrow (Tuesday 24th January).
A spokesperson from Broughton Fields Primary school said "The heating has completely broken overnight (Sunday night) and the school is currently at sub-zero temperatures. School will be closed today (Monday)."
Forecasts indicate that temperatures will reach overnight lows of -1° tonight. Mikey Faulkner will have all the latest weather and school closures on The MK Breakfast Show from 6am tomorrow morning on MKFM.
