Police have confirmed that sadly a body has been found in the search for missing man Gerald.
Gerald, aged 70, was last seen at around midday yesterday (9/2).
Sadly, following searches today (10/2) a body has been found.
Although formal identification hasn’t yet taken place, it is believed to be Gerald.
His family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
“Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal and who offered their help to find him,” police say.
The death is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
