Big Man McIndoe joins the Milton Keynes Breakers

The Milton Keynes Breakers have announced the signing of Troy McIndoe, a formidable 6’9” Centre, for the upcoming 2024-25 season.

McIndoe, who most recently played for Barking Abbey in NBL Division 1, adds significant size and skill to the Breakers’ roster as they prepare for another competitive year.

Troy McIndoe has built a reputation as a powerful presence in the paint, having previously lined up for both London Elite and Thames Valley Cavaliers. His experience and versatility on the court make him a valuable addition to the Breakers as they look to build on their recent success.

A seasoned pro, McIndoe has also played professionally in Spain, Italy, Germany, Ireland, and Portugal.

Expressing his enthusiasm for joining the Breakers, McIndoe said, “I’m extremely happy and excited about the prospect of our team. Being in a winning situation is super important to me at this point in my career, and having watched the Breakers from the outside.

“I can see that this organisation is all about growth and winning. I was watching from a distance last year, and I loved the basketball that the Breakers played. Having met the coaching staff and management, I can see why they’ve been so successful. I’m excited to get started.”

McIndoe also shared what he brings to the team, “I have a lot of physicality mixed with skill, but when it’s all said and done—I’m all about doing what it takes to help my team get the win.”

Head Coach Billy Beddow expressed his enthusiasm for the new signing, saying, “We are really pleased to sign such a high-character guy like Troy. He has been an instant impact in practice already—strong, skilled, and with a brilliant touch around the basket. He’s going to add a lot to the team both on and off the court. Having played in NBL D1 before, he understands the lay of the land, and we are looking forward to reaching new levels with him on the squad.”

Troy McIndoe becomes the tenth major signing of the summer for the Milton Keynes Breakers, joining a strong roster that includes Luke Gregory, Nate Robinson, Kai Williams, Blayne Freckleton, Jaguar Jackson, Kai Walker, Temi George, Adrian Scarborough, and KJ Johnson.
